Isle of Iona
This new house on Iona was built from architect’s plans provided by our clients Colin and Kate. They opted not to go to a timber frame supplier and instead we made the kit ourselves.
As you can see, they chose to install a multifuel stove in their living room. This is a very popular choice with many of our clients. They also opted for oak internal finishings. Although more expensive than the more usual pine, this is also becoming increasingly popular. The photos below show the details of the oak stair which was made on site.
